What to Expect
A visit to Pittsford Community Church will introduce you to a warm, loving congregation of Christians from all walks of life. You’ll be greeted at the door, welcomed into the Worship Center, and engaged in vibrant worship. You’ll hear a relevant message from the Bible and be given an opportunity to talk with others after the service. However, you will not be coerced or embarrassed in any way. We never point out new guests in our services, nor do we pressure you to make a decision about faith or church involvement. The invitation is open, but we respect your desire to respond at your own pace. If you have children or teens in your family, they will have the opportunity to worship with you and to attend age-related classes. You’ll find Pittsford Community Church to be a welcoming church family with a commitment to God, to family values, and to your spiritual nurture.

You can get an idea of Dana's teaching style by watching one of his messages here: http://www.pittsfordcc.org/Recent_Video_Sermons. PCC broadcasts live on the internet at 10:30AM eastern time. Dana is an expository teacher with a style of teaching that is reminiscent of a university style of teaching. He has extensive factual history knowledge in regions Jesus and his followers lived in and he often foot notes his sermons with cultural insights that support the scriptures.
PCC has three services that have a blended style of worship with both contemporary praise music and hymns song corporately. The sermons are the same and are principally taught by Dana, the Senior pastor. The assistant pastor, Dave Sanford, also teaches on occasion. Bible study classes for adults and children are mainly at 9:00 AM.
PCC enjoys attendance by several local area colleges (RIT, Nazereth, MCC, University of Rochester) with most of the college students originating from the University of Rochester.
