The Worship Ministries exist to help all that attend PCC to focus on and worship the Almighty God, who is both The great Creator and lover of our souls. This is accomplished through several ways. One is to guide and welcome people into worship, or guide people to the classes and offerings of PCC, which is done through a wonderful team of Ushers and Greeter. The Second way is to aid, behind the scenes, in the participation of the ordinance of the Lord's Supper. The Worship Ministry also helps to facilitate the Music ministry and Audio Visual ministry to insure that the services can be enjoyed by all. The Worship Ministry guides a team gifted in the decoration of our church for the purpose of pointing people to Jesus as they enter to worship, especially during the holiday services in the church calendar. The Worship Ministry also takes on a personal note, helping people worship God in times of need through a church-wide prayer chain.

Circle of Worship

In the coming months, the focus of all Worship Ministries will be to expand the "circle of worship." The goal will be to continue to minister to PCC members and regular attenders, but create a new and heightened priority to enhance the worship experience for those who are new to or visiting our church. Our goal is to make new-comers feel the warm hospitality of the people of PCC, and the loving embrace of Jesus Christ. New training and programs are being developed, and put in place to this end.

Service

Due to the ongoing need for ushers, greeters, communion servers, and new hospitality programs, we welcome new people looking to "plug-in" to a ministry. Worship Ministries is a wonderful place for those new to the church to get plugged in, to meet people, and gain a sense of true service to the purposes of PCC and service to our King. Contact Milt Mashner or Gene Wing, who serve as the deacons that shepherds the Worship Ministries in general.  They will be pleased to direct you to the appropriate ministry head who would be happy to have you be part of their team.

Although on the surface, it looks like the Worship Ministries are targeted at serving the broad membership and guests of PCC, the true focus is on giving Glory to just one: Jesus Christ our Lord.
